Rosie Playfair is a designer at heart; her art, although often stylised and keenly articulated, must in her view be both visually attractive and functional.

The end result is a stunning collection of contemporary paintings and drawings that capture the imagination.

Her subject matter covers everything from landscapes and portraits, including animals, and still life to abstracts. For her own enjoyment she likes to paint nudes and trees – sometimes even together.
